According to Bahrain’s national news agency (SPA), King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa remarked on Wednesday that Saudi Arabia is an important pillar of the region’s security and stability.

The Bahraini king met with Saudi Arabia’s King Salman in Riyadh earlier on Wednesday and reviewed recent regional developments, according to the report.

The Bahraini king stated upon his arrival in the Kingdom that the Kingdom’s security is an integral aspect of Bahrain’s security, and that the Kingdom serves as a “safety valve” against regional dangers.

He also expressed his appreciation for King Salman’s efforts to serve Gulf, Arab, and Islamic issues, as well as the Kingdom’s vital position on regional and international levels in ensuring a better future for all people throughout the world.
