Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Tuesday a telephone call from his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavsky concerning the situation in Gaza Strip and other related developments, as well as the military escalation in the region.

Prince Faisal emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire and the establishment of humanitarian corridors to facilitate the delivery of critical relief assistance to Gaza.

He called on the international community to assume its responsibility to halt the assault carried out by Israeli occupation forces against innocent civilians and healthcare facilities.

He also demanded an end to the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
