Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has held a phone call with his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock.

During the call on Monday, the two ministers discussed the situation in Gaza and its surroundings. They emphasized the importance for all parties to abide by international humanitarian law including stopping all forms of targeting civilians.

The two sides highlighted the importance of the international community fulfilling its responsibilities toward an immediate ceasefire, reaching a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, adhering to UN and Security Council resolutions in this regard, and developing urgent solutions to bring medical and relief aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
