Videos allegedly showing the operation, as well as the aftermath of the shooting, have been shared online.

According to G1 website, one police officer and 22 suspects were gunned down in an altercation in the subway of Rio de Janeiro. Two train passengers and two police officers were injured in this gunfight, it added.
