Former President Michel Suleiman stressed the “necessity of restoring Lebanon’s official relationship with friendly Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia”.

During his meeting with former Minister Major General Ashraf Rifi, Suleiman considered that “it is the government’s duty to ensure the higher Lebanese interest, which begins with improving Lebanon’s foreign relations and neutralizing it from the conflicts of the axes, and this depends mainly on the foreign policy adopted by the government as a whole.”
