The Bern administration said on Friday that Switzerland had turned down a request from Spain to permit it to re-export anti-aircraft weapons built in Switzerland to Ukraine.
Madrid had asked for the transfer of two Swiss-made 35mm anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine back in January.
In the past, Switzerland has rejected proposals from Germany and Denmark to send armored vehicles and ammunition built in Switzerland to aid Ukraine in its conflict with Russia.
