Media sources announced today the death of Major General Bahjat Suleiman, advisor to the President of the Syrian regime, Bashar al-Assad, due to complications from his infection with the Coronavirus.
Al-Mayadeen TV, which is close to the regime, confirmed via Twitter, the death of Major General Bahjat Suleiman as a result of complications from the Corona virus at the Tishreen Military Hospital in the capital, Damascus.
He Supported Bashar Al-Assad and played a prominent role in his succession to his father in power. He was the most wanted man in the “Detlev Mehlis” report in the assassination of Prime Minister” Rafik AL-Hariri.”
It is noteworthy that Bahjat Suleiman is a diplomat and a former general in the Syrian Arab Army, born in Latakia, a graduate of the Military College in Homs, with a BA in Military Sciences, 1968/1970.
Major General Suleiman, was a former ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to Jordan – commander of a,battalion, regiment, and tank brigade in the combat formations of the Syrian Arab Army.
It is noteworthy that Bahjat Suleiman was born on January 1, 1949 in Lattakia, Syria, and died at the age of 72, knowing that he is the author of the book (What Happened in Syria: A Conspiracy or Revolution).
