The Observatory: 25 members of Syrian regime forces were killed and wounded when an ISIS minefield exploded

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced, on Monday, the killing of 7 members of the Syrian regime forces and allied militias in the Badia region, in the east of the country.

The observatory indicated that the dead were killed by the explosion of at least two mines planted by ISIS in the Badia, east of Homs Governorate, pointing out that 18 others were wounded, which suggests a high number of deaths due to the presence of serious injuries.

Thus, the number of human losses during the period extending from March 24 of the year 2019 to the present day reached 1,415 regime forces and the militants loyal to them of both Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including at least two Russians, in addition to 149 militias loyal to Iran of non-Syrian nationalities.

All of the dead were killed in attacks, bombings, and ambushes for ISIS in the west of the Euphrates, the Deir Ezzor desert, Al-Raqqa, Homs, As-Suwayda, Hama, and Aleppo.

The Syrian Observatory also documented the killing of 4 civilians working in the gas fields and dozens of shepherds and other civilians, including children and women, in the attacks of the organization.
