Local officials claimed on Thursday that at least three people were murdered, including a small girl, in an attack the day before on a children’s hospital in Mariupol, southern Ukraine.

“According to updated numbers this morning, three persons were murdered in yesterday’s attack on a children’s and maternity hospital in Ukraine’s besieged Mariupol, including a female child,” the municipal council reported on its Telegram channel.

Officials initially stated that 17 people were hurt in the attack.
