According to the official gazette, Tunisian President Kais Saied accepted the resignation of junior minister Aida Hamdi, the secretary of state for international cooperation.

Hamdi is the first minister to quit since Najla Bouden’s appointment as prime minister in October, after Saied’s suspension of parliament, which opponents portrayed as a coup.
