The United States Justice Department said in a statement that it would reveal the findings of a nationwide health care fraud and opioid enforcement operation against 87 persons in 14 districts involving more than $2.6 billion in fraud on Wednesday.
The announcement will be made at 11 a.m. (1500 GMT) at department headquarters, according to the notice. The case involves law enforcement officers from the Justice Department’s fraud section, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Department of Health and Human Services’ inspector general.
