Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Twitter on Wednesday that his Indonesian counterpart had invited him to the Group of 20 (G20) major economies summit later this year in the Southeast Asian country.
“I had a conversation with President @jokowi… Thank you for inviting me to the @g20org summit “In a tweet, he called out Indonesian President Joko Widodo, the current G20 chair, by his nickname.
Zelenskiy did not say whether he would accept the invitation to the summit in November on the Indonesian island of Bali. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has stated his intention to attend.
