In a video address released early Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated that the positions of Ukraine and Russia in peace talks were sounding more realistic, but that more time was needed.

On Tuesday, a senior Ukrainian official said that while talks with Russia were difficult, there was “certainly room for compromise,” and that talks would resume on Wednesday.
