Ukraine’s Zelenskiy says Russia’s actions bear signs of ‘genocide’

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy asked the world on Sunday to remove Russia’s voting rights at the United Nations Security Council, calling Russian acts “genocide.”

“This is a terrifying situation. They’re going to attack our Ukrainian cities much more, and they’re going to murder our children in a more subtle way. This is the evil that has infiltrated our country and must be eradicated “Zelenskiy stated in a brief video statement.

“Russia’s unlawful activities against Ukraine carry the hallmarks of genocide,” he continued.
