In their conversation on Saturday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy concurred on the significance of the international community stepping up aid to Ukraine.
Sunak’s office issued a statement saying, “The Prime Minister indicated he was focused on ensuring the UK’s defensive military equipment reached the front line as swiftly as possible.”
The British statement also said that “both leaders agreed that it was essential that international allies increased their assistance to Ukraine to help grab the chance to push Russian forces back.”
