When science believes in God..a new book that turns old convictions about science and faith upside down

In a way that was as unexpected as it was astonishing, the pendulum of science swung in the other direction, and through the saying, “How can something To be born from nothing?” Two French authors, Michel-Yves Bolloré and Olivier Bonnassies, overturn the belief and convictions of any atheist who does not believe in the existence of God.
A new scientific book, by the two French writers, on the relationship of science to the divine, considered that recent scientific discoveries, such as the Big Bang theory, have become enough to overturn the belief and convictions of any atheist who does not believe in the existence of God.
According to a long report published by the French newspaper Le Figaro, the two writers focused in their new book “God, Science and Proofs.. The Dawn of a Revolution” (Dieu, la science, les preuves. L’aube d’une révolution) on the path of the emergence of the universe, which began with The “Big Bang” about 14 billion years ago, and the scientific accumulations that followed it, will inevitably follow amazing discoveries in the coming decades, which led them to “see the face of the Creator in distant galaxies.”
The Buddhist astrophysicist Trin Guan Tuan – one of the scientists cited by the two writers as “believing astronomers” – asserts that “in the next 30 years we will have exciting discoveries about the cosmology of origins.”
And this “believing scientist” – the newspaper adds – is not the only one who is betting on the existence of a “great architect” behind the creation of this universe, for example, some studies were conducted that went in the same direction, including an American study in 2009 conducted by the Pew Center The Pew Research Center on “Scientists and Beliefs in the United States” showed that the majority of American scientists (51%) believe in “something” compared to a minority (41%) of atheists.
The French writers also cited a study conducted by the geneticist Baruch Aba Shalev in 2003 on the beliefs of Nobel Prize winners since its inception, showing that 90% of Nobel Prize winners are associated with a religion, two-thirds of them are Christians, and that the percentage of atheists among the winners The Nobel Prize for Literature is 35% compared to only 10% among scientists.
The report considers that the theory of the Big Bang – which was scientifically confirmed in the early sixties of the last century and has become flawless – has long been opposed by those who reject metaphysical beliefs and myths because it has once again opened the way for theological visions, and this opposition has continued even in the light of Nazism and communism that fought such ideas with imprisonment. and with death sentences.
The newspaper believes that the two writers are right in their insistence that the development of science has become less dogmatic (a state of intellectual stagnation in which a person is intolerant of his own ideas to the point of refusing to see contradictory ideas) when it comes to doctrinal issues, as atheists can no longer rely on it to prove that there are no God, and believers are able to cite scientific discoveries to prove his existence.
On the other hand, the two authors assert that in the process of science nothing is born from nothing, and that if there was a “Big Bang” then surely there was also something before it “superintelligence beyond imagination.”
But the problem is that talking about “before” the Big Bang also poses a problem of a temporal nature, since time was born with the explosion, so it is ridiculous to assume the existence of an event before the event and no time before time, which leaves us with an unanswered question: How can something To be born from nothing?
Or, more clearly: Who started the running of the hands of time?
Le Figaro stresses that in light of these questions, there remains only one thing that all scientists agree on, whether they are believers or atheists: the principle of metaphysical questions, which in itself is a giant step forward for believers regardless of their beliefs, even the theoretical physicist Albert Einstein himself He ended up accepting the idea of a God as “the number one cause behind things,” he said.
