The Russian-installed commander of the seized Ukrainian province of Kherson said on Wednesday that people will be barred from visiting the territory for seven days due to increasing pressure from a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
On state television, Russian-installed governor Vladimir Saldo stated that the area has the resources to defend Kherson and that the measure was necessary to “keep citizens safe.”
