The World Health Organization said on Friday that it was in contact with the US about sharing COVAX vaccines, which distribute doses to the poorer countries.

Bruce Aylward, a senior WHO advisor, told a virtual briefing in Geneva. “They realize that sharing these doses can help make the overall impact more significant. “If your doses are ready, you want them ready… We work simultaneously.”
