Contradiction of concepts of the state, construction and resistance between the sovereign regulations and Hezbollah’s regulations

There are common titles among all the candidacy programs for the parliamentary elections, whether sovereign or non-sovereign, and they are similar to each other. This was noted by Western diplomatic sources in Beirut.

That is because “Hezbollah” imitates the electoral slogans of that sovereign, as it says we resist and build and talks about its plans to “build the state that we aspire to be just” to the extent that it reaches the point of treason, describing the upcoming elections as a “July political war,” and calling for What he called “jihadist voting”.

For the sovereigns and the revolutionaries with them, they consider that the elections are a real opportunity for change, that is, to change the current majority that rules Lebanon by force of arms, as they say.

They consider that everyone who votes for the party and its ally the National Movement, means that they vote for the economic and political suffering and for the preservation of the party’s authority over the state, and for the annexation of Lebanon to Iran as a region of the Persian state. They refuse to lay hands on Lebanon and call for steadfastness, and that resistance is the option if other options are not secured, “the land is our land and the people are our people, and we will not leave our land and our people.” They call for neutrality and non-interference in external conflicts in which Lebanon has nothing to do with, and for Lebanon to remain a sovereign, independent, and free country. It is a long war and any loss will lead to battles from behind…

The sources put the talk about the state and the construction that came in the party’s slogans under the following framework:

First: Attempting to attract the popularity of the changers after the outbreak of the revolution on October 17, 2019, who belong not only to the Shiite sect, but to all sects and who have suffered and still suffer from the absence of the state and the absence of responsibility in finding quick solutions to the life and living situation that is getting worse every day. The party wanted to speak the language of the people, who now reject the absence of the state and everything that contradicts the weapon of legitimacy. The party’s regions suffer economically, just like all Lebanese regions. The party is well aware that the revolutionary tendency in its regions is not underestimated, which calls for work to attract them electorally.

Second: The party anticipates any US-Iranian understandings expected after the signing of the nuclear agreement, which will affect Iran’s role in the region and the future of this role, especially in light of the possibility of removing the Revolutionary Guards from the list of terrorism. This may be paralleled by a reassessment of the roles of Iran’s allies in the region as well, including Hezbollah in Lebanon. If this happens, the party will be one of the advocates of the state, even if it is in the form. Finally, the party’s Secretary-General said, “With the new performance and the new action plan, we will start the second step in our political life, and we have other areas that we will take care of in relation to building the state”… The nuclear agreement and what follows will reshuffle the cards in the region, and the Lebanese situation will not be far from that.
