People in Afghanistan gather as rescuers try to reach and rescue a boy trapped for days down a well in a remote southern Afghan village of Shokak
Several Taliban sources stated Friday that a five-year-old kid who had been stranded for three days down a rural Afghan village well had died.
In a tweet echoed by dozens of his colleagues, Taliban interior ministry senior adviser Anas Haqqani said, “With profound grief, young Haidar is forever separated from us.”
