Germany will deliver seven self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine, in addition to the five howitzers already pledged by the Netherlands, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said on Friday.

She told reporters in the Slovak town of Sliac, where she was due to meet her Dutch counterpart later today, that training for Ukrainian troops on artillery weapons could begin next week in Germany.
