India Registers 41,806 New COVID-19 Cases

The total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases stands at over 188 million globally, while the death toll has surpassed 4.05 million worldwide, according to Baltimore, Maryland’s Johns Hopkins University, which tracks and compiles data on the pandemic.

The United States, India, and Brazil are the three worst-hit countries in the pandemic: the US has registered almost 34 million infected and 608,000 deaths, India has 30 million cases and 411,000 dead, while Brazil has the second-highest death toll of 537,000 and over 19.2 million infected.
