Moldova claimed three cruise missiles fired by Russia at Ukraine breached its airspace on Monday, and it summoned Russia’s ambassador to explain.

“Three cruise missiles launched on Ukraine from Russian ships in the Black Sea this morning flew across Moldovan airspace. I directed that Russia’s ambassador be called to explain himself “Nicu Popescu, Moldova’s Foreign Minister, posted on Twitter.

He said Moldova condemned in the “strongest possible terms” the violation of its airspace and also condemned “Russia’s continued aggression against Ukraine.”
