Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesperson, said on Wednesday that there had been no progress in peace negotiations with Ukraine, and that Kiev was completely reluctant to continue them.
“Negotiations are not moving,” Peskov added, “and we notice the full unwillingness of Ukrainian negotiators to continue this process.”
According to Interfax, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko stated on Tuesday that Russia and Ukraine were not having discussions “in any shape,” and that Kyiv had “practically withdrawn from the negotiating process.”
