Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received on Wednesday a telephone call from United Nations envoy to Syria Geir Pedersen.

The officials discussed means to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria and the envoy’s efforts to that end.

Prince Faisal underscored the Kingdom’s keenness on exerting all efforts to reach a political solution that maintains Syria’s unity, security, stability and Arab identity, as well as achieves prosperity for its people.
