Tunisian coast guards collected the dead of three migrants whose boat drowned off the coast of Tunisia and rescued around 250 others in a series of different events, according to a security official on Wednesday.

“In ten illegal migration excursions, Coastguard rescued 240 African migrants and eight Tunisians, and discovered the corpses of three Africans whose boat drowned off the shore of El Awabed in Sfax Governorate,” Lieutenant-Colonel Ali Ayari stated.
