UAE to gradually lift COVID-19 related restrictions

The United Arab Emirates will progressively loosen limitations established to halt the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the state news agency (WAM), since the number of illnesses and hospitalizations has decreased.

Venues will be authorized to operate at full capacity by mid-February, according to the National Emergency Crisis Management Authority.

According to WAM, the UAE recorded 1,538 new coronavirus infections and four deaths in the previous 24 hours on Wednesday.

The overall number of COVID-19-related illnesses and fatalities registered in the country is 862,514 and 2,273, respectively, according to the report.

The UAE has one of the highest immunization rates in the world.
