Nancy Pelosi, the US Speaker of the House, met with Ukraine’s president on a visit to the country’s beleaguered city, Kyiv.

Pelosi, who is second in line to the President behind the vice president, is the highest-ranking American leader to visit Ukraine since the war began, and her visit is a significant show of continued support for the country’s fight against Russia.

Pelosi was seen in Kyiv with a Congressional delegation that included lawmakers Jason Crow, Jim McGovern, and Adam Schiff, according to video published early Sunday by President Volodymyr Zelensky’s office.
