Rafic Hariri’s Honors.

Rafik Hariri, whom the world looked at proudly, was awarded with medals which decorated his chest, and honest history book’s cover. The most prominent of which are:

– Knight’s Medal, Italian Republic (1982)
– National Cedar Order, Commander (1983)
– St. Peter and St. Paul’s Medal (1983)
– Fiftieth Anniversary Prize for the Relief of Children (1983)
– King Faisal Medal (1983)
– City of Paris Medal (1983)
– Golden Key of Beirut (1983)
– Honorary Doctorate from Boston University – Nice – Arab Beirut – Ottawa, Canada – Montreal – LAU (1986)
– Golden Key For the city of San Paulo / Brazil (1995)
– Legion of Honor Grand Cross (1996)
– Grand Cross of the Order of honor (1996)
– Grand Cord Medal – Morocco (1997)
– Renaissance Medal of the first category from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (2001)
– Honorary Medal of the Arab Union / Union of Arab Warriors (2001)
– Star of Romania with the rank of the Grand Cross (2002)
– Union Medal – Republic of Yemen ( 2002)
– Honorary Award for the United Nations Human Settlements Program Barcelona (2004)
– King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam and the Islamic Development Bank (2005)

All of these are honors from the most prestigious institutions and references in the world. However, the greatest honor for Rafic Hariri, remains from the people’s reference, as he was awarded from their hearts, the Order of Love with the rank of honour.
