France’s bus plan… From one thousand to fifty!!!

The maintenance of 45 public transport buses has been completed, it is the first practical step after the theoretical plans of the Minister of Works and Transport. The step is incomplete as long as it did not specify a date to start using these buses, it is also of interest to the citizen to know the cost of the tariff, which has not yet been determined.

The buses need someone to drive them, and the drivers who will take over the task need a decision to hire them, and the World Bank requires the decision-making authority to dismiss a large percentage of employees who fall under political clientelism.

The regularity of the transport sector in Lebanon restores the orderliness of public utilities.
More than 70% of state employees do not work due to the cost of transportation.
The private transport sector controls transportation in Lebanon, the sector monopolizes the lines between regions, a monopoly that takes place in agreement with the political parties according to each region.

The number of buses and vans operating illegally exceeds three thousand. Security sources confirm to SBI the need for organizing joint transport to be a priority that the state has been ignoring until now.

The risks arising from the chaos in the common transport start with exposing the citizens to danger and do not end with the transfer of contraband from one region to another.
