FPM losses continue, and Hezbollah’s support won’t restore its brilliance

It is not possible to separate what is happening within the “Free Patriotic Movement” of resignations and dismissals from the policy it has pursued since taking over the reins of power and allying with “Hezbollah,” leading to the signing of the famous “Mar Mikhael” agreement, which was shaken several times for reasons related to the interests of both parties, according to a special source for “Sawt Beirut International”.

The source adds that the “Free Patriotic Movement” has sought, since before General Michel Aoun to the presidency of the Republic, to use all available means, albeit at the expense of his cadres and supporters. The affiliation cards began to fall… And time won’t go back.

As for the election, and after the dissolution of the previous “FPM” alliances, It is no longer a party that attracts personalities who aspire to enter the Parliament, even for those who are funded by them. Its destiny has become confined to only two destinations: Bashar al-Assad’s regime and “Hezbollah”, according to the source.

As for Bashar’s regime, the source points out that its power is limited to its remaining allies, and this can’t be the bet, as it left Lebanon defeated after the assassination of the martyred Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. It no longer has the ability to extend its authority inside Syria after Iran and its militia took control.

As for the relationship of the “current” with “Hezbollah”: it is a major catastrophe, because the goals that the “Free Patriotic Movement” seeks, even if it secures immediate gains in parliamentary bloc, will not match the loss that the Lebanese people will suffer, because the Hezbollah project is beyond the borders of 10,452 thousand km.
