Will Mikati be forced to change “banking percussion officer”?!

In December of last year, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, when asked about the possibility of dismissing the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, answered ,“during war, officers cannot be changed.” This phrase was criticised from various parties, although everyone knows that most of them benefited from “Smuggled deposits” outside Lebanon in varying proportions …

Going back to “fake support” era, we find that the responsibility is distributed among them all, under the pretext of helping the Lebanese people overcome the economic crisis, while they pay from their savings the price of this support, through those who they granted confidence in the ballot boxes, from the top of the pyramid to its base, and today they are trying to evade responsibility for this decline, witnessed by the Lebanese pound, which reached the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as it began to close some of its embassies, and its fate has become like the fate of most Lebanese private institutions, factories, and others.

Yesterday, the head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, Muhammad Raad, confirmed that “if they want to destroy the banking system in Lebanon, let them do so”, stressing that “they did not create this system, but rather foreign deposits, and the US Treasury monitored it, as no penny enters into one of our banks except under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance.” In this contest, a special source for “Sawt Beirut International” considered how accurate are the words of the deputy of “Hezbollah” who created auxiliary institutions, including, but not limited, “al-Qard al-Hasan,” which worked independently of state finances, and he cannot deny their participation in the collapse of the banking sector. Many banks closed after it was found, that it was working in laundering his party’s money. In addition to the fuel that was brought into Lebanon from Iran and crossed the borders without accountability or oversight. The state had no role, not even any benefit, and it was not a gift but rather sold at reduced prices, it did not saturate the market but became a means to reduce the level of discontent and anger experienced by the party’s environment, after the reduction of Iranian funding, the failure of Captagon smuggling operations, and the loss of huge sums, and the sanctions imposed on businessmen working in various countries to secure “fresh dollars” for the party. Not to disregard the smuggling of subsidized goods of all kinds into Syria, indifferent about the Lebanese state. Perhaps gasoline and diesel were the most prominent elements in draining the the Lebanese treasury.

The source wonders about Mikati’s stance regarding pressure on Riad Salameh, wheather in terms of the new decisions issued by Judge Ghada Aoun or in terms of President Michel Aoun’s warning regarding depositors’ money, which he saw as being in danger, pointing out that he is working hard to prevent it from happening, saying “that this game is in its final stage, and everyone responsible for this great catastrophe will be revealed.” So, is what is being presented regarding the governor of the Banque du Liban can be translated on the ground, or is it just “bubbles” that hide other purely electoral goals?
