Today, the new government headed by Prime Minister Najib Mikati met at Baabda Palace, in the presence of President Michel Aoun and all the ministers, and this is the fourth government under President Aoun.

In a report by the International Information Society, in which it explained in numbers, how much did the assignment of each prime minister spend during the era of President Aoun, and how long the caretaker governments lasted, and the report stated:

“General Michel Aoun was elected President of the Lebanese Republic on October 31, 2016. His reign until today (on September 10, 2021, the date of the formation of the current government) has witnessed the formation of 4 governments, two apologies for the formation and 696 days of government vacuum and the conduct of business, which constitutes 40% of the days President Aoun was appointed until the date of the formation of the current government according to the following table, as the government of Prime Minister Hassan Diab lasted 366 days in the care of business, which is the longest period in the history of governments until today, and this preceded the government of President Najib Mikati in 2013, which lasted 315 days in the care of business. .”
