Head of Kataeb Party, the resigned MP, Sami Gemayel, tweeted on his Twitter account, saying: “Lebanese people must be the source of decision to break this chaos. The big confrontation will be in the upcoming elections so that people can bring down this regime, and this is what we will work on in the coming months.”

He added in a second tweet, “A president is absent and a sad prime minister, at a time when there is a set of reforms and measures that the government must take, starting with controlling smuggling and the borders, with the state’s recognition, Iranian fuel enters illegally without paying any fees to the state.”

He concluded, saying in a third tweet, “What we have seen from this system until this moment is killing and destruction of all the necessities of life, without talking about massive immigration.
