Saudi Arabia, Romania sign defense deal renewing commitment to peace

According to the official Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia and Romania have signed a defense cooperation agreement that would include the sharing of knowledge in technology, communication systems, and medical services, as well as training (SPA).

It is part of an agreement signed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Dr. Khalid bin Hussein al-Bayari, Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, and Romania, represented by Simona Cojocaru, State Secretary and Chief of the Department of Defense Policy, Planning, and International Relations.

The agreement was reached as the nations reaffirmed their resolve to “support and foster world peace and stability,” according to SPA.
