A black market for postage stamps

Since 2019, Lebanon has been intermittently experiencing the crisis of losing stamps. If these stamps are just souvenirs for collectors, then there is nothing wrong, but when they are considered a necessity for completing most official transactions from birth to death, through marriage and divorce transactions, courts, establishing businesses and companies, and so on, herein lies the problem.

Some of the stores that used to sell them stopped… Therefore, citizens complain about their scarcity and monopoly in a few stores, and if found, the price is on the black market rate!

For example, the stamp of one thousand pounds is being sold for more than 20 thousand!… This is what may lead some to procrastinate and postpone the completion of their transactions, or they may find a solution by buying them from the black market, if the transaction is necessary and urgent.
