A time bomb is about to explode!

The decision to raise the prices of fixed, cellular, and internet communications in Lebanon constituted an additional burden on the Lebanese, who suffer from the high cost of all products and services. Will the Lebanese adapt to the new prices, or will they give up their phones?

The head of the General Federation of Lebanese Trade Unions, Maroun Al-Khouli, said that the decision to increase Internet prices is a time bomb and can ignite the country.
The Minister of Communications is therefore called upon to take responsibility, and if the decision to increase the telecom tariff is not reversed, all the opposition forces and civil society will take the decision of the open strike.
The General Federation of Lebanese Trade Unions rejects all price-raising policies, especially in the telecommunications sector, and calls for the adoption of an organized support policy, especially for the poor and students, otherwise we will head towards an inevitable disaster.
