As world welcomes 2022, Ras Al Khaimah gets ready to enter Guinness book

Despite the tight measures established as a result of the COVID-19 virus, particularly the breakout of the Omicron mutant, certain governments have invested large sums of funds to celebrate the new year. Millions of people watched the usual fireworks at the world’s most prominent squares, tourist and historical landmarks, whether in person or on television.

Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates was recently inducted into the Guinness Book of Records for the highest height for displaying fireworks with unmanned aircraft and the largest number of drones used to launch fireworks simultaneously and create a visual formation of the “Happy New Year” slogan flying in the Emirates’ sky.
