Huge question marks are being raised about the Free Patriotic Movement’s resignation to preserve the Ministry of Energy. It is trying to blackmail Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Hezbollah and try to barter between Berri’s re-election as Speaker of Parliament and his retention of key ministries, especially energy.

This issue comes ahead of the accounts of the head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Representative Gibran Bassil, on the presidential elections file.
