The stagnant waters of justice were agitated yesterday with the Beirut port bombing file, after the judicial investigator Tariq Bitar slammed the many response claims against him, after 13 months of suspension, deciding to return to the file and consider it.

Bitar considered that he does not need permission to pursue the defendants, as he is basically authorized to carry out this task, culminating in this step by releasing 5 detainees in the port file out of 17, and prosecuting eight new people, most notably the Director General of Public Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, and the director General of State Security Major General Antoine Saliba.

Waiting for what will be the reaction of the Shiite duo to this step the corrupt power machines began to prepare the equipment for the counterattack against Bitar’s decisions with the aim of nullifying them.

A political-judicial ram will begin again between a man who has proven to be a man of law in the first place and those who have tried hard to obliterate justice.
