As for the merchants, who used to witness a heavy movement in the last week of Ramadan before the Eid, to compensate for the retreat movement for the whole year, they express their situation bitterly, as there is no demand on the goods they had attended, hoping that the joy of Eid will overwhelm the worst economic crisis that the country is going through.
The huge rise in prices has had an impact on meat and livestock in general, to the extent that Ramadan dishes have become “scarce” .. So what if the situation today is the Eid dish?!
Even Eid sweets, families are no longer able to buy, after the price of one kilogram of sweets, costs today ” big sum of money”, even the well-to-do citizen cannot afford!
The Eid is back, at a time when families are without work or a source of livelihood, racing to get a loaf of bread, waiting for a miracle to save them from their misery!
