“Elections are the most perilous,” says Parliament Speaker Berri

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri stated that “the conditions that the Lebanese are facing demand for a calm political debate that presents points of view and suggests solutions, not the other way around.”

Berri emphasized that “the current electoral process is the most crucial and hazardous in Lebanon’s history,” and that “the rival lists from the far right to the far left, as well as the cross-embassies restrictions, concentrated their campaign on the pair and the weapon of resistance.” He emphasized that “the collaboration between Amal and Hezbollah is a relationship of soul and body, and an alliance between the sons of the one struggle.”
