The upcoming election campaign, on May 15th, is witnessing an unprecedented phenomenon, represented by the number of female and male media candidates who joined the opposition and party electoral lists in the various Lebanese regions.
The number of male and female media candidates has reached about fifteen. To what extent will they be able to play the legislator’s role?
The Election Supervision Commission had warned some media professionals against continuing to present television programs and appear on the media during election campaigns. For fear of violating the election law, in terms of equal opportunities for candidates.
