Two years after the crime of the Beirut port explosion, which claimed the lives of more than two hundred people, and the stalemate surrounding the investigations that the authority is obstructing, the Beirut Bar Association’s prosecution office in the tragedy made an important development in the High Court of Justice in London, where the company “Savaro” will be obliged to reveal the identity of the person behind the company that caused the August 4 earthquake.

A judicial achievement that will allow the disclosure of basic information about the shipment of nitrates and those responsible for it. A few weeks away from the anniversary of the explosion, the wounds of the victims’ families will not heal while waiting for the truth.

Mohi called on the concerned authorities to deal with this issue away from pressures and interests, and to reveal the facts in full transparency before the Lebanese and international public opinion.
