Lebanon has no hospitals or doctors towards the end of the week!

With the health sector in Lebanon on the brink of collapse due to its inability to continue in light of the current crisis, and after raising the voice to address the severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies, the Lebanese Doctors Syndicate in Beirut and the North and the Syndicate of Private Hospital Owners in Lebanon announced the general strike and a complete daily cessation of work next Thursday and Friday in clinics, health centers and hospitals, except for emergency cases, in refusal of the policies of the Central Bank of Lebanon and the Association of Bank Owners against depositors in general, doctors, health sector workers and hospitals.

Haroun stressed that the continuation of the situation as it is threatens to close a large number of hospitals.

The head of the Doctors Syndicate, Sharaf Abu Sharaf, considered, for his part, that the bad banking relations between Lebanese banks and depositors have become based on perversions and lack of respect for laws.

Abu Sharaf warned that the future of thousands of those affiliated with these unions is in danger, especially since doctors and nurses are migrating in large numbers, considering that the solution must be swift by applying the law, respecting people and preserving their dignity.
