He added, “There are several stories of the incident, and the most reliable, according to eyewitnesses, is that the Lebanese army confiscated the fuel tanks during the day and emptied them for its own good.

A certain quantity of gasoline and diesel remained. A number of citizens came to empty what was left, and suddenly the tank exploded. one of the stories says that someone fired at the tank and accused the owner of the land called George Rashid, and there is another version that one of the citizens mistakenly sold a lighter.

A citizen confirmed that George Rashid gave a lighter to a Syrian worker to light the fire, but he refused, so he shooted and flee.
