The Iraqi security forces confirmed in a statement that a missile attack targeted an oil refinery in Erbil, northern Iraq, which resulted in a fire in one of its tanks and it was brought under control.
The anti-terror authorities in the Kurdistan region indicated that six missiles fell near the Kar refinery in Erbil, adding that they were launched from Nineveh Governorate. The security forces said that they found a launch pad packed with four missiles in the Nineveh Plain after the attack, and they were able to neutralize it.
