The Netherlands remains the most strict in Europe in terms of closures due to Corona, while it has been allowed to return to work for shops and professions that require direct contact with others, such as barbers and nail care salons.

In a symbolic protest against these restrictions that affect the cultural sector in particular, for one day, dozens of museums and concert halls in the country were transformed into hair and beauty salons and gyms.

The Dutch authorities issued warnings to a number of the seventy sites that participated in this move, which was supported by a wide segment of music, art and theater lovers, and demanded the reopening of museums, theaters and gyms, like other sectors.
