On New Year’s Eve, restaurants are fully booked and payments in fresh dollars

The tourism sector is Lebanon is breathing a sigh of relief and celebrating the promising festive season, following several months of stagnation as a result of the political and economic crisis, as well as the coronavirus pandemic.

In the few days touristic institutions witnessed a remarkable increase in occupancy rates, despite the cold weather. So, how much did the occupancy rate reach in restaurants, and will the expatriates save what the rulers spoiled?

Is it true that the price is in fresh dollars? And restaurant owners have turned into money exchange dealers?
