A painting by international artist Michael Angelo was sold for 23 million euros at a Paris auction, a record price for a drawing signed by an Italian Renaissance master, according to the auction house. This drawing dates back to the end of the fifteenth century and is drawn with a pen and brown ink.
The painting was first offered for sale in 1907 in Paris, and was designated a National Treasure of French Heritage three years ago.
